Trinity
gets herd award for her very
pretty udder and quiet manner...
except for breakfast and dinner
time.
Trinity is a very petite, very,
very sweet doe. She stands on
nice legs and feet, has a
smoothly blended, tight front
end assembly, and is very level.
She is a beauty that will be
here to stay for a very long
time. Her sire,
Halifax,
is linebred on
Raising Arizona ++S, being the
paternal grandson of AGS
National Champions, Tom Thumb
and Water Lilly and the maternal
grandson of Arizona himself.
Halifax now resides at Dragonfly
Farm, co-owned with Laura
Whitlock, Hal's breeder, of Dawn
Land Farm.
If
this doe finally gives me a
doe... she'll be kept. Very
nice, all around keeper!

Senna gets
herd award for her nice udder
and independance.
Senna is a very strong, correct
doe. She is the most
independent and unassuming doe
I've ever owned, and she is the
only one that has been able to
figure out how to open all the
grain pails. Senna hates
chaos and will go to great
lengths to avoid it. She is
very petite, still, at almost 1
1/2 years old. "Her
half sister by Funny Cide,
First
Flight, earned her
GCH Jr leg as a yearling and
promptly freshened with a very
nice udder--she was unbeaten in
her class in 8 straight shows as
a yearling first freshener.
Sunni Florence states this: "I
think this doe has tremendous
potential. Nice and high, tight,
you can see the medial but it
doesn't really stand out yet,
nicely placed teats and moderate
capacity--rather than one with
tremendous capacity, deep
medial, huge teats, etc. In our
experience does like this one
turn out to be the does that
make the long haul. Their udders
improve with every freshening,
and they still have an
exceptional mammary at 13 years
old. This is the sort of udder I
look for in my first freshening
does. All of the correct
elements are there."
Senna's udder is very soft with
very easy to milk teats and
collapses down to nothing.
Joanne of
Dragonfly Farm states:
"The udder is extremely well
attached and structurally very
sound. She has a very well
extended, horizontal fore udder;
that reflects a very well
constructed medial that attaches
well forward and a very high
tight rear udder."
VERY well attached second
freshening udder, though her
teats could be larger and
definitely more plumb.

Thalia
gets herd award for best
milker, milk stand manners,
and most eloquent!
I
feel honored to have this doe
here, because, well, you don't
see too many Calliope kids leave
Dragonfly Farm. She displays
charisma and elegance... all in
one little package! She is very
sweet and enjoys getting her
daily, special attention.
If this girl doesn't receive her
quality time, she will high tail
it from inside the stable, out
to the paddock, and SCREAMS
until I either disappear or go
back and give her some love (it
took me a while to figure it
out). Thalia is that goat that
you could just sit and watch all
day long as she is wonderfully
graceful, both on the move or
just hanging out. She is a
petite goat with lovely manners
and so very enjoyable to milk
with such soft, pliable teats
and large orifices. She also
has the most beautiful "I Dream
of Genie" eyes!
See
her 2006 daughter by Hunk,
Merlin. Thank
you, Joanne, for offering me
this gorgeous doe!!
I
retained her 2009 doe and she is
just stunning. Not quite sure
yet if I'll be keeping a 2010
kid.

stunning.

absolutely stunning;
looong, feminine

of milk.

Jo-Jo is the shy one
in the herd, but
very sweet.
Very nice legs and
feet, very level,
nice rear width.
Love her dam and
sire... lots of
potential here!
Thanks, Joanne! I
really love this
very sweet little
girl!! These pics do
her NO justices, but
we can just
wait for those kids
to arrive and take a
good look at that
udder.

The "chosen" one!
Very elegant looking
-- just like her
dam; beautiful
conformation, great
legs and feet, nice
rear width, long
neck... a keeper!
Yep, really need to
clip and set these
girls up. Hate to
because of all the
bugs, but we'll see.

Very petite, sweet,
quiet, my shadow! To
see this girl in
person is to
appreciate her and
her potential. Nice
wide rear, long
neck, pretty
feminine face, and
very nicely blended
shoulders. Take a
look at her dam and
sire, etc.
Another doe where

many kids will
leave, so please, if
you have an

Wild is very petite
at about 19 inches
tall, but Wild's
breeder, Joanne
states: "Still
milked respectably
in the brief period
she was able to be
on test. She has
absolutely terrific
teats."
I have been wanting
this beautiful and
stunning doe to add
to my herd for a
couple of years, so
here she is, and
here she will
stay... co-owned with
Joanne Karohl of
Dragonfly Farm. I
know it hurt Joanne
to see her leave,
but she also knows
she's in good hands
here.
I'm not sure how
many of her kids
will leave, so if
you have an
interest, please get
your reservation in
