I have been a long admirer of this little guy, and words cannot
express my gratitude to Joanne for entrusting me to bring this gorgeous
buck home to settle my does this season (2009). I am very excited
to be adding his progeny to my little herd. |

Hard to beat a Flat Rocks linebreeding like this one.
Rio is a big buck, in a small package. He is sire to my very dear and sweet
Senna... she looks like a baby deer!

Grandsire to
Tempee, our beautiful little doe. Orbit now resides
with Carlene Wheeler at God's Love Farm. Isn't he just a hunk? |

I have had the pleasure of having Hunk visit
here at Humble Acres for the purpose of settling a couple of does. He is
such a gentleman; calm, reserved, and very dairy with a beautiful hair coat!!
Hunk's
owner, Joanne Karohl says this of him: "Hunk is both a Raising Arizona grandson, and a
Luck of the Draw son, which is very nice indeed--in fact, he has four of the most
illustrious names in the breed as his grandparents. He has already proven that he can
produce
lovely daughters, one
of whom,
Cloverdale's IH Cafe Latte, has already won an
ADGA GCH and an AGS
Best Udder in show as a first freshener. And I
know everyone always says this, but--he really is much more level than he looks in this
photo! Hunk is oversized (24") but he did receive an excellent score in an unofficial
classification session. His kids here have universally had notable length of body, neck and
bone pattern, levelness of top line, tight shoulders and elbows, and wide open escutcheons.

Thistle's breeder, Joanne
Karohl, states this:
"Not only is this guy linebred on Raising Arizona,
but his pedigree also includes ARMCH Goodwood Waterlilly 2*D, the 2000 National
Champion, ARMCH Rosasharn's Eclipse *D E, (dam of Summer Sol), at 10 years of age the
2005 National Champion, and MCH Fairlea Heidi E, at 9 years of age Best Doe in Show at
the Bridges ANDDA Nigerian Specialty Show (companion show to the 2005 Nationals, where
many of the same animals were competing). I don't sell many bucks, but this guy is
bred to the hilt." Thistle is
very long, level and angular. A very sweet boy, too!
Thistle's littermate
sister,
Birgitte, freshened with a
very nice
first freshener udder.

I love this buck... he is
very dairy, great legs and feet, beautifully blended
shoulders, nice width, level and very sweet. So anxious
to see his offspring in the spring. I don't hit the show
ring, but the proof is in the kids!
Check out his mother
here,
Very Nice Pedigree... |
